VINCI BTP to perform upgrade work on Noisy-Champs station
and its ancillary installations, on future lines 15 Soutside and 16 from Grand Paris Express
- Develop a major hub of the new Paris metro
- A contract worth 82 million euros
Société du Grand Paris has awarded VINCI Construction, via its subsidiaries Chantiers Modernes Construction (lead partner) and CBI, the modernization contract for the future Noisy-Champs station and ancillary facilities.
This emblem of the Grand Paris Express will be the station connecting the future lines 15 South and 16 with line A of the RER. Straddling Noisy-le-Grand (in Seine-Saint-Denis) and Champs-sur-Marne (in Seine-et-Marne), it will include two monumental wooden propellers, one emerging from each city, converging in a spiral at the Mountain peak.
The works will amount to 82 M €, will begin in June 2022. They concern the overall development of the part of the Noisy-Champs station serving the future lines 15 South and 16 (structure, masonry, technical and architectural trades, roads , utilities and landscaping).
This project, which employs up to 200 people, follows on from the civil engineering work carried out for the construction of the station and the front station, entrusted to a consortium led by VINCI Construction in 2017.
5% of the hours worked will be allocated to social integration workers. VINCI will also associate its Chantiers & Territoires Solidaires endowment fund, which supports associations working on projects of general interest around employment and social ties within the perimeters of the Grand Paris Express construction sites.
In addition, VINCI is active in several other work packages for the Grand Paris Express, where it combines and also synergizes the expertise of its subsidiaries in underground projects, urban planning, railway works, road technologies. information, data science and electrical engineering.
