A total of three bidders / consortia submitted their bids for the construction of the 8.198 km section of this project.

The scope of work under the C-5 contract includes the design and construction of civil works and construction, including testing and commissioning on a design-build lump sum basis for the road. double line high speed railway involving Vadodara station, confirmation car base, viaducts and bridges, level crossing Bridges and related works between MAHSR Km. 393.700 and MAHSR Km. 401.898 in Gujarat state for the Mumbai-Ahmedabad High Speed ​​Rail Corridor Construction Project.

The names of the tenderers are as follows:

  • Larsen & Toubro Ltée (L&T)
  • IRCON International Ltd.
  • GR Infraprojects Ltd.

A tender notice for the above works was published in June 2021.

The 508.17 km Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed rail corridor will link Mumbai (in Maharashtra) to Ahmedabad (in Gujarat) with 12 high-speed train stations. The construction of this corridor will be completed in 8 major civil engineering contracts.
