Sage at Oak Creek, a 55+ year old apartment rental community currently under construction in North Fort Myers

Site work is complete and construction is underway on Sage at Oak Creek, a new residential community in North Fort Myers offering over 55 apartment rentals.

Developed by Sage Communities, Sage at Oak Creek will feature 184 one-story rental homes, each with full access to resort-style amenities suitable for an active lifestyle. Maintenance-free one- and two-bedroom units will be available, each with full kitchens, living rooms, and private porches, plus an option for an attached garage.

Construction began on models featuring each of the community’s five distinct floor plans, as well as an amenity center that includes a swimming pool, fitness center, yoga room, social room, park for dogs, a mailroom and a multipurpose room. The amenity center also includes office space for on-site management and a dedicated activity coordinator to support an active adult lifestyle.

Since Sage in Oak Creek caters to residents over the age of 55, accessibility will be key. All apartment buildings are single-story, so residents won’t have to navigate stairs or elevators. Barrier-free entrances and accessibility options provide flexibility as resident needs change. Living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms will feature luxury vinyl tile floors.

Sage at Oak Creek is located across from Del Webb Oak Creek, a new community that will feature 821 homes with vacation-inspired amenities. The development is off Bayshore Road in North Fort Myers, just west of I-75.

There are five floor plans for Sage in Oak Creek:

· Royal Palm (1,559 square feet): 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, boudoir, attached garage

Sabal Palm (1,418 square feet): 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, attached garage

Silver Palm (1,058 square feet): 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms

Sawgrass (1,043 square feet): 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, boudoir

Palmetto (874 square feet): 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom

Sage in Oak Creek will begin accepting pre-rental reservations in late summer. The first residences are expected to be completed in November 2022, including models available for tours. Introductory rental prices start at $1,890 per month.

Project partners for Sage at Oak Creek include Stevens Construction as the general contractor, Barraco & Associates as the engineering company, Tomahawk Construction for site work and Studio+ as the architect.
