TCIL 2021 recruitment for engineers is underway for 6 new engineer-in-training positions for which online applications have been invited. Selected candidates will be engaged under the Apprenticeship Act 1961 for a one-year apprenticeship period at Telecommunications Consultants India Limited. The training program will not create any liability for TCIL for providing employment to an apprentice, the notification says. Those selected will receive a monthly stipend of Rs 9000.

Who can apply for TCIL 2021 recruitment?

TCIL’s latest recruitment notification indicates that there are 6 new vacant Engineer-in-Training positions for which applicants with a four-year full-time BE, Tech or BSc in Engineering in the following fields can apply:

Candidates who are following or those who have already completed apprenticeship training under the Apprenticeship Act elsewhere are not eligible to apply for the opportunity at TCL. “The candidates provisionally selected must undertake not to apply for a job after the end of the training”, indicates the notification. The age of applicants must be between 18 and 28 years old as of October 31, 2021.

How to apply for TCIL 2021 recruitment?

Interested and eligible applicants will need to obtain a valid registration number on the National Apprenticeship Training Program (NATS) portal to apply for the positions. After that, applications should be submitted by November 30, 2021 on the NATS portal. After registering, applicants should complete the full form and send the scanned copy of the application along with the certificates to [email protected] In addition, applications should also be sent by post to TCIL.
