North Boyd parking lot will be closed for construction to make way for improved land | West Orange Times & Observer

The new North Boyd Street car park is under construction in Winter Garden.

The new parking lot is built on two City-owned lots located at 37 North Boyd Street and 63 North Boyd Street. The scope of this project includes the construction of a paved parking lot (124 parking spaces in total) with associated improvements to drainage, landscaping, irrigation and lighting. The project will also include the installation of a bicycle repair shelter at the southwest corner of the parking lot.

The parking lot at 63 N. Boyd Street will close on February 7 and will remain closed for the duration of the project. Barring unforeseen circumstances, the expected completion of the new North Boyd Street parking lot is May/June 2022.

Construction work will take place Monday through Friday during normal working hours from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (The exception is emergency work, which would require working outside normal working hours.)
