PAPILLION – Mayor David Black intends to appoint Mike Kleffner as the next City of Papillion public works manager at the Papillion City Council meeting on January 4th.

Kleffner has over 20 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. Previously, he was Director and Project Engineer for Nexus Alliance NA. In addition, he was a construction engineer for the City of Omaha, an urban engineer for the Nebraska Department of Transportation, a project engineer for Olsson Associates, and a field engineer for the Nebraska Department of Transportation. Transport.

His relevant experience includes administration of budgets and capital improvement plans, construction inspection, sewage system design, road design, SID development and trail design.

Kleffner is currently chairman of the Town of Wahoo Planning Commission. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Physics from Chadron State College and a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
