Leeds engineering firm strengthens foundations with promotions to board level

Leeds-based Adept Civil and Structural Consulting Engineers promoted Gareth Shepherd and Paul Gill to the board and made them shareholders of the company.
Paul joined Adept six years ago and now leads a wide range of projects primarily in the retail and residential real estate sectors for clients such as Asda, Sainsbury’s and several national builders. It also specializes in providing civil and structural engineering services for petrol stations and recently completed work on the UK’s first fully electric car charging forecourt.
Gareth joined Adept in 2020, having spent more than 20 years working in the civil and structural engineering consulting industry. He specializes in leading project teams and providing engineering solutions on mixed-use developments and large-scale industrial and distribution sites for his clients.
Adept employs 41 people in its Leeds and Manchester offices and the current directors of the company are Erol Erturan, Matthew Ramsden and Richard Parker who all founded the company in 2007.
