IDAHO FALLS – A new apartment complex is coming to Idaho Falls and people will be able to pre-rent as early as next year.

Jackson Hole Junction and Helu opened a new 227-unit apartment complex on Friday afternoon. The Pioneer Crossing Apartments at 3040 South Fork Boulevard across from the Holiday Inn will begin pre-letting in Fall 2022. There will be a large clubhouse and amenities include a pool, hot tub, fire pit. , a training room, a dog park and more.

The square footage will vary from 600 to 1,100 square feet per unit. There will be one bedroom, two bedroom and three bedroom units available. The units will not be furnished but will have a washer and dryer installed.

“We all know everyone has been hit hard by COVID-19. Big projects were closed, small businesses were closed, and hope for many was dwindling. We feel truly honored to help and be a part of the new growth and new starts after these two long years, ”said Jay Minnick, President and CEO of Helu.

It is not yet known when the project will be completed or how much the units will cost.

Earlier this year, Jackson Hole Junction announced that Ron Sayer Chrysler Jeep Dodge would be relocating to the site that would have been the home of Showbiz Cinemas. The ground was laid for the cinema and entertainment complex in February 2020 and was then forced to back down due to financial losses resulting from the pandemic.

“We are pouring the foundation right now,” Sayer said.

The concession is expected to be completed in December 2022.
