New construction is booming throughout northern Nevada; with many projects, both commercial and residential, underway in Carson City. If you would like to hear more about these developments, consider joining the Rotary Club of Carson City’s weekly meeting on Tuesday, August 9.

Nevada Builders Alliance CEO Aaron West will be the guest speaker at the noon meeting in the Grand Ballroom at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 West King Street, Carson City.

Carson City Rotary Club president Joe Walls says it’s a hot topic.

“I’m interested to hear Mr. West’s ideas on residential and commercial development plans for Northern Nevada,” he said. “There are a lot of issues to consider, including people’s desire to settle here, construction costs, water issues and large companies discovering our area. It should be a very interesting presentation.

Aaron West has served as CEO of the Nevada Builders Alliance since June 2014. Under his leadership, the organization has become the largest statewide construction industry organization and is known as the voice of the ‘industry.
