ACCE Mangalore Center Celebrates Engineers Day and Technology Week

Mangaluru, September 16: Association of Consulting Civil Engineers (ACCE) (India) Mangalore Center in association with Ramco Cements Limited organized the Engineers Day Celebration and Techno Week 2022 here at St Sebastian Hall on Thursday 15th September.

Addressing the gathering, Adani Group Construction Projects Manager Suhas Patil said, “Every day is a very difficult day for all of us. We always step out of our comfort zones and do our best. During this period, we see innovation. Each time we undertake a project, it is a proud moment for us, and also when it is recognized by our family.

Ramco Cements Limited Managing Director Vinod A said: “We are proud to be associated with this program. We remember Sir M Vishveshwaraya. As Ramco, we implement much of his teachings. We have also always believed in innovation.

ACCE General Secretary Vijay Vishnu Mayya said, “The role of an engineer is not just to plan and execute, but to assimilate knowledge. In the meantime, we must also accept challenges.

The Outstanding Engineer award was given to Chief Civil Engineer NMPA Panambur, Harinath AV and Operations and Administration Manager Marian Projects Pvt Ltd Ujwal D’Souza, Outstanding Builder award to Mahabala M, owner MM Constructions and award Anantha Mithra Kalabhavi to Suraj Kumar A, Technical Assistant General Manager, Ramco Cements Limited, Mangaluru.

Techno Week adviser Anil Sebastian D’Souza received the Anantha Mithra Kalabhavi Award for the year 2021 as he was absent at last year’s event.

ACCE(I) Mangalore Center President Satyaranjan Rao hosted the rally, Secretary Clody Jerald Lobo delivered the vote of thanks and Rajesh attended the event.

ACCE Center Treasurer (I) Mangalore, Devendra K Shetty, Techno Week Advisor Anil Sebastian D’Souza, Suraj Kumar A, Organizer Vinod T D’Souza, Arunraj KV and others were present .
